The Samsung Galaxy Express is heading to international markets in the near future, but did anyone bother to look into the trademark?
The new Samsung Galaxy Express is a mid-range Android device that in most instances we may not have even written up as it isn’t coming to the U.S. markets – yes, AT&T released a Galaxy Express last year, but it’s a different phone – at this point. However, being an Anime fan, this phone’s name jumped out at me immediately.
One of my all time favorite Anime movies is Galaxy Express 999 by Leiji Matsumoto of Captain Harlock fame. Seeing as no lawsuits have popped up from the last one, it seems doubtful any will materialize this time around. It does make you wonder if we are truly running out of phone names, however, when we’re down to naming them seemingly after fictional space trains.
No word as of yet as to which markets this handset will appear in.
