Samsung is bringing the Note 8 in Deepsea Blue to the U.S. on November 16, the Korean company announced on Wednesday. The color was previously made available overseas alongside a gold variant.
The arrival of Deepsea Blue will add some much-needed variety to the Note 8 lineup, which only comes in Midnight Black and Orchid Gray. But don’t think you can just walk into any ol’ store and purchase the beautiful new color.
As has been the case before, Samsung is making Best Buy the only big box retailer you can pick up the Note 8 in Deepsea Blue. If there isn’t a Best Buy location in your area, you can also purchase the device through Best Buy’s website or Samsung.com.
Customers who opt to buy the Note 8 from Samsung can take advantage of the company’s trade-in program, which will put a credit toward the device. You can learn more by visiting Samsung’s trade-in website.
Otherwise, the Note 8 in Deepsea Blue is like the black and gray models that have been available in the U.S. since September. Which is to say, consumers will get a phone with a 6.3-inch QHD+ display, S Pen support, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, dual 12-megapixel camera setup, and a 3,300mAh battery.
When the device goes on sale on November 16, the unlocked version should retail for $950 like previous versions, but Samsung did not confirm at this time.
