Samsung’s taken the wraps off a new Rose Pink variant of the Galaxy S8 Plus, which is set to go on sale in Taiwan next month. Unfortunately, there’s no word on whether the firm is planning on bringing the hue to other regions, but we can envisage it on the shelves at our local Best Buy store.

If this particular color model does make its way to the U.S., there’s a good chance it’ll launch under a different moniker as Samsung typically assigns unique names to the colors it releases in Taiwan. For example, it rebranded Coral Blue as Ice Lake Blue exclusively for the Taiwanese market.

Bring it to the United States, Samsung!

It was recently revealed that Samsung had surpassed 1.3 million sales of the Galaxy S8 in South Korea, with around 11,000 customers picking up a unit every day. To achieve that kind of momentum in other countries, the company needs to make its product appeal to everyone… by releasing new colors.
