Rovio's next big franchise is gearing up for a July 12 release, the company announced on Tuesday. Dubbed Amazing Alex, the game appears to be some sort of puzzler with Rube Goldberg-style contraptions as the main focus. If you're sick of flinging cartoon fowl at thieving swine, Amazing Alex looks to be as far a departure from Angry Birds as possible. Using real-time physics, the game features 100 different levels of action, with free updates promised for the future. And for the more creative types, users will have the ability to create and share their own puzzles with friends and family. We're intrigued by the above trailer, so it'll definitely be a day-one purchase for us.
