If you don’t own a Roku, there’s no better time to get in on the streaming product everyone loves. Roku recently sent us an email with all of its Black Friday deals ahead of time, and where you’ll be able to find each product. There may be more from additional retailers in the future, so we’ll let you know if those pop up, but here’s a taste of what to expect.
Beginning on November 20, Best Buy will sell the Roku Streaming Stick for $35.99, down from the standard price of $49.99. Best Buy will also sell the Roku 3 for $49.99, down from $99.99. Beginning on November 24, Walmart will sell the Roku Express+ for $25, down from the standard price of $39.99. This is probably the best option for folks who want to try Roku but aren’t yet sure if they want to cut the cord, since it’s the most affordable option. On November 21, Kohl’s will sell the Roku 2 for $44.99, down from the standard $59.99 price the retailer usually sells it for.
Some of these aren’t the newest Roku players
Keep in mind that Roku recently refreshed its portfolio with new 4K-ready products. The Roku Express+ is the newest and cheapest out of all of the products on sale for Black Friday, but the discounts on products like the Roku 3, a great product, are worth the fact that you’re buying a generation-old product. If you want the newest, look for the company’s new Premiere-branded products.
