Psyonix has released V1.16 for the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of Rocket League. They explain the patch fully in their official patch notes, but they headline the big changes at the top.
This patch will improve the way the ball bounces, adjust hitboxes “for several vehicles to bring outliers more inline with other Battle-Cars” and will bring the ESRB rating down from E10+ to E.
Here’s how they specifically explain improving the ball bouncing behavior in the patch notes:
Repaired collision issues that resulted in incorrect ball-bounce behavior in some maps.
- Additionally, the “Wasteland” Arena received collision improvements to eliminate inaccurate bounces
You can read the full notes in the source below. Psyonix does not indicate when this patch will hit the Xbox One.
Meanwhile, I’m considering picking Rocket League up on the PC. I have friends playing on that platform, and recent stuff like the Hoops update make me miss it.
