RIM already promised that it will unveil its latest BlackBerry 10 operating system on January 30 but, until today, we didn’t yet know where the event was going to take place. The company officially issued press invites on Monday to an event that will occur in New York City, and we’re expecting to see RIM’s first BlackBerry 10 smartphones on the same day.

BlackBerry 10 needs to be a hit for RIM, otherwise it will certainly continue to lose market share to its competitors around the globe. We can’t wait to see what’s in store.
