Pantech Pocket Preview

Here’s a super awkward video of me giving you a preview of the Pantech Pocket for AT&T. Out of all the video recording scenarios I’ve ever been in, this was by far the worst. Imagine trying to film a hands-on preview with three Pantech reps standing right beside you in a hallway. It was like trying to use the urinal with the cast of the Sopranos staring you down from two feet away.

Oh yeah, and about the phone. It’s a mid-range Android Gingerbread device with a peculiar 4-inch extra wide screen. That’s it’s selling point. Oh, and it has a textured body to create the illusion of ruggedness. So there we have it. Watch my awkward video above and check out the Pantech Pocket specs below. Note: there’s no price or release date yet.

Pantech Pocket Specs

  • 1GHz processor
  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread
  • 512MB RAM
  • 4.0-inch SVGA screen
  • 5-megapixel rear camera
  • 1680mAh battery
