PopCap Games recently announced that the highly anticipated Plants vs Zombies 2 game will be free-to-play and exclusive to the iOS platform at launch. Recent rumors are even suggesting that the free-to-play model is coming to console games.
According to the rumors, users will download game demos for free and pay to unlock additional maps and characters.
