Retro Brick Bluetooth Handset

Zack Morris phone. There, I said it. It's out of the way and you don't have to worry about me mentioning it again.

If you do, however, want to go back to the days of Bayside High (or 1980s Wall Street), a company named Shia Labs has started a new Kickstarter project with the goal of releasing a Bluetooth-powered Retro Brick handset. It looks similar to the original Motorola DynaTAC 8000X and has a fully functional keypad, speakerphone and LED display. The device is rated for up to 20 hours of talk time with 50 hours of standby, can work as a Skype headset with your PC, has a rechargeable lithium ion battery and can be used within 30 feet of your smartphone or PC.

Backers who pledge $85 or more will receive a white Retro Brick handset, but anyone who backs $115 or more can reserve the far more stylish neon green, neon blue or hot pink Retro Brick models. The first devices are expected to ship in November, if the funding requirements are met.
