Resident Evil 6 wasn't our cup of tea, and the rest of the gaming crowd seems to agree. However, 2012 wasn't a total loss for the iconic zombie series.

The Nintendo 3DS saw the release of Resident Evil: Revelations, which was warmly welcomed by critics and gamers alike. It was also one of the few games to actually pass Capcom's sales projections from last year, and rest assured that Capcom didn't overlook that statistic.

Confident with the solid reviews of the portable version, Capcom has decided to port the game to PCs and HD consoles, and the demo will be available this May 14th. Added to this HD port are new characters and missions, but the core multiplayer element which garnered much of the critical praise will still be kept intact.

Nobody is sure what the demo will contain. I'm sure Capcom just wants to see if the handheld formula goes well with the couch sitting gaming crowd.

The game itself will be released a week later on May 21st for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U.
