Resident Evil: Revelations was originally a Nintendo 3DS exclusive title. Earlier this year, Capcom announced that it would be getting HD ports for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. Today, Capcom of Japan released the trailer you see above and the screenshots at the base of this post.

I personally dug this game a lot when it launched on the Nintendo 3DS. It’s more of a Resident Evil title than the string of action games that Capcom’s released over the last few years. You know, more like Resident Evil 4 than Resident Evil 6. Which, for almost any fan, is a good thing.

Here’s the current status of Resident Evil: Revelations‘ North American release, as per a separate presser sent around by Capcom earlier this morning.

Resident Evil Revelations will be available at retail for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U system, and digital download for PS3 and Windows PC on May 21 in North America. Digital versions for Xbox 360 and Wii U system will follow.

So, there you have it. Resident Evil: Revelations will drop for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U platforms on May 21st, 2013. Flip through several screenshots in the gallery below.
