Right now you can purchase the iPhone 8 in red, which provides the One Campaign with funds toward the fight against HIV/AIDS. It’s an organization that Apple’s been involved with for more than a decade, assisting people struggling with the disease all around the world.
So far you’ve probably seen the product talked about on social media and covered by several media outlets. But Apple is promoting the product as it does normally, too. The iPhone 8 (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition is also getting attention on television. Over the weekend, numerous spots for the red iPhone 8 aired. And it shows just how sexy the glass-based body is in red.

Every part of the iPhone 8 in its new head-turning color get showcased in the ad. Apple starts with a close-up of one corner, and then we see close-ups of the buttons and speakers. The home button, which is black with the rest of the front, also makes an appearance.
The ad finishes with a spinning red iPhone 8 rising up to show the rear camera until it’s whole back is shown.
Apple purchased ad time during the NBA Playoffs. So it’s possible you’ll see ads for the red iPhone 8 through mid-June. By then, Apple should be low on stock and stop producing additional units. Then you’re back down to choosing the iPhone 8 in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray.
