HTC will sell the HTC 10 in some pretty standard colors in most markets, including black and silver in the U.S. But, if you live in Japan, you’ll be able to pick one up in a gorgeous “camellia red” hue from carrier KDDI. The news was dropped when HTC announced the 10 but largely slid under the radar since, well, it’s going to be hard to buy in most markets right now.
HTC will eventually launch the red HTC 10 outside of Japan but hasn’t said when. In the past, offered Best Buy and carriers like Sprint and Verizon exclusive colors of its flagship smartphones. That even included a unique blue version of the HTC One M7 that was sold through Best Buy. It’s possible we’ll see the red HTC 10 in the U.S. down the line, but I’d guess that it won’t be for a while.
Great looking phone, though. If I was in the market for the HTC 10 (and maybe I am?), I’d be trying to get my hands on the camellia red model.
