The Razer Phone 2 is one of the most substantial phones to hit the market in recent years. It features a boxy frame that’s made of aluminum and glass, and to top it off, it has a crazy light up logo. Lucky for those looking to pick one up, its design is very durable.
YouTuber JerryRigEverything put the Razer Phone 2 through his usual stress test and discovered it holds up quite well. This is due to its sturdy frame that’s coated in black paint. Deep scratches reveal the silver aluminum, but for everyday wear and tear, it should hold off deep gashes.
The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back will also hold off most scratches but anything over a level 6 on the Mohs scale will leave their mark. JerryRigEverything also confirmed that the side mounted fingerprint scanner can be scratched yet will still work without issue.
The last test was the bend test. There will be no bendgate controversy here.
