Droid 4We've seen some impressive phones hit the scene over the past few weeks – iPhone 4S, Galaxy Nexus, Droid RAZR – but they have by and large been sans keyboard. Well, it looks like Motorola is set to shake up the status quo, as DroidLife has acquired some nice looking photos of a purported Droid 4 – and it's 4G LTE.

The phone is definitely on the way, according to DroidLife, carrying the most impressive slide out keyboard ever seen on a device. QWERTY lovers rejoice! The pictures feature a device that looks quite similar to that of the Droid RAZR, so folks hoping for a mishmash between that and this year's Droid 3 will have something to get excited about. The specs are unconfirmed, but here's what we might expect: 4-inch screen (possibly Super AMOLED advanced), Android 2.3,  1080p video recording (no word on camera megapixel), HDMI out for LapDock support and a front-facing camera.

No official word has been made by Motorola on when we can expect the device, but judging by the photos it doesn't look to be too far off. For those looking for Droid RAZR styling with a slide out, full QWERTY keyboard, the Motorola Droid 4 looks to be shaping up as the perfect combination.
