Finally, say hello to this blast of great news. Based on the Japanese prices for the PS Vita's proprietary memory cards, most publications were lining the prices of the external storage solutions anywhere from $39 to $129. Those estimates, it turns out, were off. The cards are much cheaper than most expected. Here's the rundown of memory card pricing.
Product Name Release Date MSRP 4 GB Memory Card February 15, 2012 $19.99 8 GB Memory Card February 15, 2012 $29.99 16 GB Memory Card February 15, 2012 $59.99 32 GB Memory Card February 15, 2012 $99.99
Sony will also have an official starter kit available for $39.99. It includes "a 4GB Memory Card, Pocket Pouch, Protective Film, Card Case, Headphones, and Cleaning Cloth."
Now that you've seen the official pricing and launch lineup for the PS Vita, will you be there on day one?
