Office 2010, the successor to the much-loved Office 2007, will be release in June of this year (for PC), and pricing has just been leaked. The new version of office will bring further changes to the ribbon interface, plus a new integration with the web (to compete against Google Docs). The pricing will be as follows:

  • Professional – $499 boxed, $349 for product key
  • Professional Academic – $99 boxed only
  • Home and Student – $149 boxed, $119 for product key
  • Home and Business – $279 boxed, $199 for product key


If you want to try Office 2010 now, you can grab the beta for free, which is good until November of 2010, at which point it will become inoperable.
