If you’re looking to inject some life into your Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, the talented developers in the Android community have you covered. Steve Kondik, CyanogenMod founder, announced over President’s Day weekend that a pre-alpha build of CyanogenMod 9 has been made available for the tablet, requiring only a recovery.img flash in fastboot and then the insertion of CM9.zip through there.

Word of caution, like with any mod, proceed at your own risk. Right now the software is currently in the pre-alpha stage, so not all the kinks have been worked out. Apparently the developers are working toward a highly tweakable, polished out-of-the-box experience, making for a better overall Android OS.
