Pokémon Sun and Moon goes down in a region inspired by Hawaii. What does that mean? In the stereotypical sense that we may see put on display by The Pokémon Company, palm trees, grass skirts, volcanoes, luaus and, yes, islands.
Thanks to Pokémon Sun and Moon‘s listing on Amazon, we now have a hint at what sort of environment we’ll experience with this take on Hawaii. The verbiage specifically pluralizes islands, offering that we’re in for a bit of hopping.
Embark on a new adventure as a Pokemon Trainer and catch, battle, and trade all-new Pokemon on the tropical islands of a new Region and become a Pokemon Champion!
Not much to go on, I know, but it does suggest that this will be more than the standard layout we’re used to with this franchise. Typically, there are one or two islands to explore. Here? We could see a whole game filled with islands and much smaller forests and mountains.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will launch for the Nintendo 3DS on November 18, 2016.
