Greetings, Pokéfriends. We come bearing news of Pokémon news.

The Japanese arm of The Pokémon Company has announced that fresh information regarding Pokémon Sun and Moon for the Nintendo 3DS will be issued on July 1 at 10 p.m. JST. Here’s the tweet:

This means we’ll see some news about Pokémon Sun and Moon next Friday at 10am Eastern and 6am Pacific. What will the announcement involve? We don’t know. The tweet simply says that new Pokémon Sun and Moon information is coming on the given date and time, and they encourage fans to enjoy.

We could be looking at new Pokémon, more information regarding the Alola region or some specific evolution details for the three starters. Who knows? I’m up for anything at this point.

Pokémon Sun and Moon will release in North America for the Nintendo 3DS on November 18, 2016. Stay tuned for more, including whatever comes next Friday.
