Nintendo's released a brand new ad for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the upcoming Nintendo 3DS remakes of fan-beloved Ruby and Sapphire for the Game Boy Advanced.

The new TV spot is nerdy, obviously, but it features the new flying mechanic, a bunch of evolutions and an announcer who, as far as I can tell, says "Pokémon" oddly. Maybe I'm weird, I don't know. I definitely pronounce it with Japanese reading in mind, but this guy just sort of drives it right off a cliff. "POH-KAY-MAWN!"

I digress.

I'm not going to lie to you; I've been looking at Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire with some disdain these last few months. I've been with the series every single year on each game's release date since, like, Yellow, and now that Nintendo's releasing a new title annually I've started to feel a little burnt out. The demo got me excited again, so I am looking forward to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but I'm nervous for the future of this series if Nintendo keeps pacing its releases this way.

I believe we'll have two editors on Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire this month, so stay tuned for that review as the release date approaches. The titles are set to sell on Nov. 21st, 2014. We'll have more as it comes.
