The PlayStation Plus lineup for July is absolutely horrifying. It’s downright murderous. Also, it has puppies.

Headlining the list of games included in your PlayStation Plus subscription for July is the choice-driven horror game, Until Dawn. You play not as one character, but a whole crew of college-aged kids ripe for being chased down by and unkillable masked murderer. Each choice you make can affect how characters react to each other, and one character’s death is far from the end. I wasn’t sure I’d like the game, but ended up having a blast with it.

It’s not just horror, though

Also on PlayStation 4 is Telltale’s Game of Thrones series, which takes the characters we know and love from the show and novels and gives us a side story that intersects with some storylines from the canon.

PlayStation 3’s offerings for July are Tokyo Jungle and Darkstalkers Resurrection. On PS Vita, you’ll be able to play Element4l and  Don’t Die, Mr. Robot, which also offers cross-buy on PlayStation 4.

That’s a pretty solid lineup with a lot of variety, including one of PlayStation 4’s real sleeper hits in Until Dawn.

On top of all this, PlayStation Plus members can get That’s You, one of the games included in Sony’s new PlayLink initiative, a set of games that travels down the same path as the Jackbox Party Pack games – local multiplayer games meant to use your mobile phone as your controller instead of a traditional gamepad. The free-to-play Orcs Must Die Unchained is launching on July 18, and Plus subscribers will be able to get a content pack worth $20 between then and August 15.

There’s a lot going on, but at least you won’t be bored.
