The PlayStation 4 will require you to subscribe to PlayStation Plus to play multiplayer games, and this remains a thorn in the side of those used to free online play. Well, Sony has a plan to reach out to disgruntled fans and show them what an amazing deal PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection really is.
Throughout E3 this week, Sony is offering four titles for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers, three of which are generally considered to be high quality games. XCOM Enemy Unknown, one of our Game of the Year finalists for last year, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and Machinarium will cost you the wonderful price of $0.
The fourth title is LittleBig Planet Karting, which you can take it or leave as you like.
Also available for free is Deus Ex: Human Revolution, another well regarded title which coincidentally found itself in rotation as the Instant Game Collection offering for the week. Still not convinced, then inFamous 2, Gravity Rush, and Vanquish, three amazing long time mainstays of the program.
This week’s sale does just not just extend to PlayStation Plus subscribers alone. Those who don’t subscribe have a healthy list of discounts for games and DLC they can choose from as well. See the list below.
