Free DLC for an EA game? Yep, you read that right.
Once tomorrow rolls around, a mandatory update will be applied to Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. That update will bring with it the Garden Variety pack, a chunk of DLC for the recently announced title.
EA and PopCap have elected to add a brand new map, titled “Chomp Town,” a new mode and abilities for each class in the game. The abilities appear to be upgrades on the current slew of powers for each character, though the upgrades come with big risk and reward elements.
The new mode is called Gnome Bomb, and it’s a plant and destroy type of game that we’ve all enjoyed in other shooters. Chomp Town was supposedly built around this new mode.
Thanks to the release of Titanfall and the upcoming presence of titles like inFamous: Second Son, Garden Warfare has unfortunately been skipped over by a lot of gamers in the world of hype and appreciation. We absolutely suggest you find this one for either the Xbox One or Xbox 360, it goes for $39.99 and $29.99 respectively.
Thanks to the brand new addition of free DLC tomorrow, the package is that much more valuable.
