Google confirmed it’ll announce the Pixel 3 in a few days, but there’s already a person who got their hands on a retail unit.
The Pixel 3 XL, which will have a notch at the top of its edge-to-edge screen, made an appearance in Hong Kong. It seems to be in an office-like environment; therefore, we suspect it was sold earlier than intended or stolen in some capacity. There was a situation in Russia in which several pre-production units were stolen and distributed on the black market.
Here, the retail unit is in black. Google will also sell its flagship duo in white and pink.
It was spotted in Hong Kong, but we don’t have any additional information to pass along. The two photos show the Pixel 3 XL’s lock screen and settings menu.
TechnoBufflalo will have live coverage from New York City. We’ll be sure to get our hands on the Pixel 3 and everything else Google announces. Expect to see the Pixelbook 2, Pixel Slate, and Home Hub, too. So there’s going to be a lot for us to dissect.
While we don’t have all the details right now, the wait is almost over. So stay tuned for these things to go official.
If you’re interested in anything Google sets forth, make sure to have a credit/debit card at the ready. The Google Store will have everything up for pre-order immediately after the live-stream concludes. Based on its history, the online store will run out of stock pretty fast and thus you need to be ready to pull the trigger within seconds.
