Pikmin 2 is part of the Nintendo Selects line for the Wii. It's also a Wii port of a classic GameCube title. It released in Japan and Europe several years ago, but it's only now getting a treatment in North America… you know, as the Wii is about to be sent adrift on a rift and then lit ablaze with a flaming arrow.

Part of the Pikmin 2 goodness players will be able to enjoy comes in the form of multiplayer. The trailer above features that play mode in action.

Playing Pikmin with the Wii Remotes feels really, really nice. If you've been a fan of the franchise and are looking for something to play on your Wii, give it a go. The Nintendo Selects games sell brand new for $20.00.
