The wait is finally over: Pandora is now available for Windows Phone 8 users. The application was completely redesigned for the platform from the ground up with a Live Tile that shows what’s currently playing and other unique features. It will automatically filter out explicit content, for example, if you want to add the application to the Windows Phone 8 Kid’s Corner.

As Microsoft promised, the application is completely free. The company said it will deliver ad-free radio through all of 2013, which means you’ll be able to skip as frequently as you want and create tons of custom stations without having to cough up a yearly fee.

The application is available from the Windows Phone Store now.
