Apple on Wednesday released the second public beta of OS X El Capitan. If you started participating in the program a few weeks ago, you should see an update available in the App Store now. El Capitan public beta 2 carries the same changes that Apple’s El Capitan beta 4 release offered developers yesterday.

That release mostly tunes up performance and squashes a few bugs. There doesn’t seem to have any major changes included, so you might not notice anything forward-facing. Apple recommends you install it either way, as it should offer the most stable version of El Capitan yet and will keep you up to date for the next public beta release.

Check the App Store on your Mac to install the update now.
