When Oppo unveiled the R5 it was the thinnest smartphone on earth. Now, just six months later, the Chinese company may be ready to follow up that device with something even slimmer. Say hello to the Oppo R7.

The alleged new handset leaked out this week with a pair of photos and a video showing the Oppo R7 in action. We don’t get to see the phone’s profile, so it’s tough to say exactly how thin it will be. One thing’s clear though; this device boasts one of the slimmest side bezels we’ve ever seen. In fact, if it weren’t for a video showing the phone in action we’d assume the entire thing was a fake.

We still don’t know very much about the Oppo R7, though recent leaks hint at high-end hardware to match that slim design. The new phone will allegedly pack a 20.7-megapixel camera and an octa-core MediaTek processor. Based on this video we’re definitely looking at a phablet, though it’s unclear exactly how big the screen really is.

Hopefully we’ll get an official look at the Oppo R7 before too long. For now you can check out the full leaked video below.
