The Oppo R5s, introduced just days ago, will officially go on sale in Europe beginning Tuesday, August 25. Oppo revealed the release date on the R5s product page recently, which also listed a price for the new phone.

If you missed the news, the Oppo R5s is equipped with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 615 processor, ColorOS 2.0 (based on KitKat), a 13-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM (up from 2GB in the R5) and 32GB of storage (up from 16GB). The device will cost €199 ($230) when it goes on sale.

Meanwhile, Oppo is also now selling the R7 Plus phablet in new markets. The R7 Plus was first unveiled in May but sales were limited to China at first. The R7 Plus, as its name implies, is a larger version of the R7 and packs a 6-inch 1080p display, a larger 4,100mAh battery, 32GB of expandable storage and 3GB of RAM. It’s now being sold in southeast Asian markets including Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia, though Slashgear suggests that the first batch is already sold out.

Oppo has not yet confirmed plans to sell the phone in the U.S. or Europe.
