The Find X will be announced later this month. Oppo confirmed the revival of its Find series in an invite for a launch event taking place on Tuesday, June 19.
It’ll be the first new Find phone released in four years, but the BBK Electronics-owned brand has been busy since then. Oppo has introduced things like a dual-camera setup with 5x zoom and fast-charging technology that can take a 2500mAh battery to completion in fifteen minutes. Engadget, which saw press materials for the Find X, confirmed Oppo is looking back at its history leading up to the Find X.
The teaser for the Find X hints at a high-end experience. It says “Beauty brings technology to life,” and the press materials discuss the ‘X’ representing the unknown. Oppo would like to position the Find X for consumers who enjoy an adventure.
Most of the specifications haven’t leaked, but there’s a rumor going around that the Find X will have 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage. Other mobile devices from Oppo’s Find series shipped with components ahead of the competition.
Oppo is hosting the Find X’s debut at the Louvre Museum in Paris, which definitely suggests this be a phone with cutting-edge specifications.
