OnePlus is all set to reveal a new device next week, but today we may be getting our first official look. The company shared an image of what we assume is the OnePlus X on Twitter last night.

We’re not sure exactly what we’re actually looking at, though it appears to be a close-up shot of the OnePlus X. That flash of light could be the action of engraving the company’s logo on the new device. You can also see a few sharp edges, which lines up with earlier leaked photos.

The OnePlus X is expected to offer a fresh design and mid-range specs for around $250. The new phone will allegedly pack a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 801 processor, a 13-megapixel rear camera (8 megapixels in front), 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It may also offer NFC, a quick charging battery and a water-resistant build.

The new phone is set to launch in a little over a week, so there’s still some time for OnePlus to hype the device. The company seems to be keeping the details a little more secret than it usually does though, suggesting we may have to wait until the official reveal on Oct. 29 before we learn anything concrete about the OnePlus X.
