OnePlus finally announced its Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade plans on Monday. It turns out Google’s new software will be coming to the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 early next year, though OnePlus X owners may have to wait a little longer.

If you’re still holding onto the OnePlus One, you’ll get a Cyanogen OS update in the first quarter of 2016. The OnePlus 2 will also graduate to Marshmallow in Q1 of next year. The company plans to include Google’s new fingerprint sensor standard when it upgrades the second-generation smartphone.

You’ll have to wait even longer if you own a OnePlus X. The company didn’t say when it plans to bring Marshmallow to the budget smartphone, though it promised to keep rolling out smaller OxygenOS updates in the meantime.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow includes Doze, a new feature which saves battery life by shutting off apps that run in the background when you stop using your phone at night. It also introduces Google Now on Tap, refined app permissions and more.
