OnePlus is trying to get serious about customer service with a new warranty program for its phones. The company just announced On-Guard, which will be available for the new OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X.

The service costs €39.99 (about $44) for 12 months, or €64.99 ($72) if you want two years of protection. On-Guard will cover any accidental damage, including cracked screens and exposure to liquid. The company also promises a “worry-free claim process” and worldwide coverage.

On-Guard is launching in Europe and India through partnerships with local firms. OnePlus will also bring the warranty program to the U.S. and Canada through an unnamed but “esteemed” company with smartphone insurance experience.

The only catch is that you’ll need to sign up for On-Guard within 15 days of buying your phone. So you can’t get a warranty on the OnePlus 2 if you bought it earlier this year. Still, for anyone interested in picking up a new device from the company, this seems like a pretty good option.
