OnePlus knows it’s a hype machine, and thus we have a new teaser for its upcoming flagship that cranks up the intensity.
The OnePlus 6T, which should arrive sometime this fall, will ship with an in-display fingerprint scanner. OnePlus calls its Screen Unlock, and that’s what the brand decided to highlight in the teaser. It shows well-known structures, inventions, and creators from history before giving a glimpse at Screen Unlock.

It won’t take anything more than placing your finger on the designated area to gain immediate access to the OnePlus 6T.
Here’s what the voiceover, done by co-founder Carl Pei, proclaims to the world:
“We long to see what has never been seen, to do what’s never been done, and unlock our true potential. We’ve always been opening up better experiences for ourselves, and we’re not stopping now.”
OnePlus isn’t saying when the flagship will be announced, but it does finish the teaser with a “coming soon” line. All rumors have suggested there will be a global launch in October or November. When it’s official, we’ll pass along all the information to you.
