Last week, OnePlus confirmed that it will unveil its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 5, at some point in the summer, and today the Chinese company shared a teaser image reiterating the name of the handset, alongside the caption "Hey Summer! Give me five!"

If a recent product listing is anything to go by, the OnePlus 5 will ship with a Snapdragon 835 CPU, 6GB of RAM, a 12MP dual-lens rear-facing camera, an 8MP selfie camera and a 3,600mAh battery that can reportedly charge 25 percent faster than the OnePlus 3T.

But what about pricing?

As far as pricing goes, we've heard conflicting reports. Some retailers say the OnePlus 5 will carry a price tag as low as $449 when it hits the shelves "at the beginning of June," while others claim it'll retail for an eye-watering $688, though that seems awfully far-fetched.
