Buying the OnePlus 2 still requires an invitation, but this weekend the company is opening up sales as part of its Black Friday celebration. The Chinese OEM just announced the new promotion, which also includes some unspecified holiday deals.

Starting Friday, November 27 through Monday the 30th, you'll be able to buy the OnePlus 2 straight from the company. OnePlus is calling it "four epic days" of promotions, so we assume there are also some pretty sweet deals in the works. It's unclear if that applies to any actual smartphones or just accessories, but hopefully we'll learn more soon.

The OnePlus 2 is a great device, packing plenty of powerful hardware for as little as $329. That includes a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 810 processor, a 3300mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 4GB of RAM, USB-C and a fingerprint reader. However, the phone is missing a few popular features, including NFC and fast charging.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this Black Friday promotion will cover the OnePlus X. The budget-friendly device just recently launched and is currently available through the same annoying invitation system. Thankfully, the company says it plans to switch over to open sales soon, so you shouldn't have to wait too long to get your hands on that device either way.
