HTC unveiled the One X9 Dual-SIM during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, in addition to a trio of “Desire” smartphones.
The One X9 Dual-SIM is probably the highlight of the bunch. It brings back the front-facing BoomSound speakers and will exist in HTC’s portfolio of devices between the current A9 and the One M9 (before the M10 launches, presumably sometime this spring.)
For specs, you’re looking at a 5.5-inch 1080p Gorilla Glass display, Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense, a Helio X10 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, microSD support, a 13MP camera with 4K video recording support, a 3,000mAh battery, a 5MP front-facing camera and a metal body. It’s a nice looking phone, though we’re not sure just yet if it’s ever going to launch in the U.S.
Take a look at the One X9 now. No, it’s not the M10 just yet, but we’re digging that HTC knows we care a lot about BoomSound. Look for the One X9 Dual-SIM in Asia and the EMEA at the end of this month, pricing has not yet been announced.
