We can’t say we quite understand HTC’s strategy right now; it appears that the company is going to follow up its flagship One M9 with three new devices, including the One M9+, the One E9 and the One E9+ at an event later this month. We’ve had a few looks at each of these phones recently, thanks to more than a couple of leaks, and now we’re getting the best look yet at the new One M9+.

Upleaks published an image recently that shows a good look at the back of the One M9+, which shows what appears to be a combination between last year’s One M8 and this year’s One M9 in a larger form factor. You’ll note the Duo Lens setup, which includes a camera sensor and a depth sensor, and dual LED flash. If not for what appears to be a larger camera module, one could easily mistake this for the M8.

However, it also allegedly packs a larger 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a fingerprint reader, 3GB of RAM and a MediaTek processor. Save for that chip, it sounds like the One M9+ may be a pretty big improvement over the One M9. It’s a shame it’s likely going to be limited to sale in Asia.
