Capcom announced tuesday night, by way of both press release and the trailer included in this post, that their late PlayStation 2 masterpiece is getting an HD update for Sony's current console. Okami HD is coming, and it will feature remastered visuals and PlayStation Move integration.

I'll be downright honest when I say that I consider this good news; the Move support is completely optional. The presser Capcom sent out with news of Okami HD's coming specifically noted that the game will support standard Dualshock 3 controls as well. Play the game as it was originally designed, with two analog sticks.

Why is that good news in my book? After playing both the original and Wii versions of Okami, I found that I absolutely preferred the analog sticks over motion control.

Okami HD will launch on the PlayStation Network this fall. While no specific date was given, the game has an exact price: $19.99.

Okay, now announce it for PS Vita and listen to the world applaud.
