The PlayStation Store on the PlayStation 3 has a fine offering of Capcom games for sale this week, so head on over to check them out if you want some deals on a game or two.
Leader of the pack is Okami HD, the cult-classic from famed creator Hideki Kamiya. A blessing and a curse, this game tore up the game award season in 2006, beating out even The Twilight Princess on many fronts, but it also failed financially and gave the Capcom brass enough of a case to close the beloved Clover Studio.
Why make great games that don't sell well when you can make above-average to horrible games that sell even better? It was Okami that taught Capcom this valuable lesson. It's available for $13.99 for the week, down from $19.99, so now is your chance to prove them wrong.
I won't suggest that every game from Capcom has been bad since Okami though. Resident Evil: Revelations was a huge surprise for even the most jaded of Capcom fans. It is also on sale for $39.99, down from $49.99, but that's still a little steep for the value. If you are dying for some Resident Evil action though, compare it to the alternatives to make your decision.
The tail end of the sale comes from Lost Planet 3 and Remember Me, both down to $39.99. They're there if you want them, but I hope I don't have to explain the irony in the latter's title.
The sale is on all week, and Okami HD is the clear cut winner here. Check it out.
