Nokia Lumia 900Nokia's Lumia 900 has apparently done so well since launching on April 9 that stock was temporarily sold out on AT&T's website. That begs the question: How much stock did AT&T have in the first place? Neither Nokia nor AT&T have shared any solid sales numbers, but the fact that the device has been exceeding expectations is a pretty good indicator the Lumia 900 is a hit, even despite an early software glitch. In fact, sales seem to be going so well that Nokia maybe finding it hard to keep up with demand.

According to Nokia spokeswoman Karen Lachtanski, who spoke with AllThingD, "The inventory situation is primarily of demand… [Nokia is] producing more devices to satisfy demand as quickly as possible."

It will be interesting to see just how many Lumia 900s were sold once financial results are shared by Nokia and AT&T this summer. We're hopeful numbers will be good. However, the device has some pretty hefty competition to hold off next month.
