Nokia is getting ready to release the Lumia 525, a follow-up to the budget-friendly 520. Yesterday, we saw the device make an appearance on China's electronics certification website, and today @evleaks has shared a press photo of the smartphone, claiming it will launch in 2013. With the year almost over, that doesn't give Nokia much time to unveil the Lumia 525.

The latest Lumia 525 leak supports @evleaks' earlier claims that the device will come in white, yellow and orange models. The device reportedly packs 1GB of RAM, a dual-core Qualcomm processor, an Adreno 305 GPU, a 4-inch 480 x 800-pixel display and runs Windows Phone 8.

The Lumia 525 definitely won't be a flagship handset, but Nokia has seen success selling the entry-level Lumia 520 around the world and is likely hoping to double down with the new device. With the new smartphone passing through government certifications and leaking out on a regular basis, it probably won't be long before Nokia makes an official announcement.
