Other smartphones have been to space, but none of them have sported a 41-megapixel camera. In an artsy form of self-promotion, Nokia traveled to Iceland snapping photographs along the way to showcase its now U.S. bound smartphone's fine optics. Perhaps unsatisfied with taking pictures of objects anchored by gravity, Nokia's crew elected to attach an enormous ballon to the device, which carried it 21 miles above the Earth to bring the crew's photo-snapping trip to a grand finale.
