When No Man’s Sky launched for the PlayStation 4, it arrived rife with bugs and crash-inducing errors. I witnessed it a few times, and our own Eric Frederiksen was plagued by game crashes at, seemingly, every turn.

Since then, developer Hello Games has issued patches to alleviate the crashes. Now they’ve announced that they’ll release a new PS4 patch for the game that should alleviate roughly 90% of all crash related issues.

That’s good news. I hope that its Hello Games’ aim to address bugs and squash them as best they can before turning to making the No Man’s Sky experience better from top to bottom.

We’ve seen what’s at the center of the galaxy, and players aren’t happy. Maybe more stuff between the start and that point will satiate some of the frustrations.
