At Apple’s event on Wednesday, Nintendo introduced a brand new Mario game coming to iOS call Super Mario Run. Although the game is considered a “runner,” it looks a lot like a traditional side-scroller that Mario fans grew up playing.

Mario will automatically run to the right; players jump over gaps and enemies by tapping on the screen. The longer you tap, the higher and longer Mario jumps. All the mechanics are familiar—it’s just been tweaked slightly for the touch experience.

Tim Cook mentioned that Nintendo is bringing the game to iOS first, but there (obviously) was no mention of Android. The game will be one price when it’s released, not free-to-play, and should be available in time for holiday 2016.
