During the presentation, there will be a spotlight for games headed to the Nintendo Switch in 2017, with a particular focus on Super Mario Odyssey, which is set for a release later this year.

Immediately after the Direct presentation, the video game maker will hold a Treehouse Live stream, in which developers will showcase gameplay from upcoming Switch and 3DS games. You’ll be able to hear directly from the developers, who will provide insight into features and story elements for titles slated for a release in the next few months.

Additionally, on June 13 and 14, Nintendo will hold a live tournament for Splatoon 2 and ARMS, the latter of which is a fighting game that utilizes the Switch’s Joy-Con motion controllers.

With the hype of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in the rear view, pressure is on Nintendo to introduce flagship Switch titles. After all, one can only play Mario Kart 8 for so long.

We saw brief gameplay clips of Super Mario Odyssey earlier this year, but little is known about the title. Hopefully, Nintendo’s upcoming Direct will shed more details on the upcoming game, including a concrete release date.
