Did you get a Wii U for the holidays? If so, it might be time to fire up the Nintendo eShop in order to score some nice downloadable goods for a slightly lower price.

Little Inferno, from the makers of World of Goo, has been cut to $9.99 until January 4th, 2013. Chasing Aurora has been discounted to $7.49 until January 3rd, 2013. Finally, Trine 2: Director's Cut has been slashed to $15.99 until January 7th, 2013.

Admittedly, the discounts aren't deep enough to get me to drop some cash into the eShop. I've personally had my eyes on both Chasing Aurora and Little Inferno, but seeing them reduced by a few dollars isn't enough to get me to pull the trigger.

I'd be a fool to complain about sales, but the Steam marketplace has done a little damage to my perception of exactly how deep discounts should be on digital goods. Steam regularly slashes the price of the software it offers by 50-75%. As such, when another marketplace cuts the price of a good by only 15-35%, I'm a little disappointed. That's the case here. Nintendo is flashing these sales next to massive Steam clearance, and I personally can't get behind such slight discounts.

But, again, that might just be me. Are these offerings cheap enough for you to take a plunge?
