Iwata Mario Luigi

Nintendo has a new Nintendo Direct presentation line up for tomorrow, Jan. 14 at 6AM PT/9AM EST. We can all look forward to Nintendo President Satoru Iwata ringing in the New Year as he lays out the games his company will be selling this coming spring.

The Big N has a whole host of games that will soon be available for both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U consoles, and most of these are likely to show up during the broadcast. On its home console, Yoshi's Woolly World, Mario Maker, Kirby's and the Rainbow Curse, and Splatoon are the biggest hits to look forward to this first half of the year. The portable Nintendo 3DS doesn't have quite as many games but sports a powerful pair with The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D and Code Name S.T.E.A.M.

Is it just me or has the Nintendo 3DS been slowing down recently? I used to not be able to put mine down for two years or so, but now I spend a lot more time with my Vita. With just two big games lined-up this spring and not a whole lot on the third party front, I wonder if Nintendo has any surprises waiting for us. It sounds like a wonderful opportunity to fill in the gaps with a JRPG we've been asking for for nearly two years now, Square Enix.

Not just on the games front, we also have the New Nintendo 3DS to look forward to. Europe just recently got an Ambassador Edition pre-order bonus for theirs, so many Nintendo of America has its own bonuses and surprises to announce.

As always, stay tuned and we'll be sure to deliver any big news that Nintendo has to offer. You can watch the stream here at TechnoBuffalo at 6AM PT/9AM EST or on Nintendo's Official Home Page and Twitch Page.
